Here we are – Xmas again, well nearly!
Our Xmas Coffee Morning was well attended and all had a good time.
There were mince pies (Hot & Cold) biscuits and a nice hot drink.
Unfortunately, we could not get a choir on such short notice but we had a Karaoke type carol sing song.
Last but definitely not least we had a good raffle provided as ever by Sheila Jackson.
We are now looking forward to the next year when we hope to produce maybe three new books – a standard one if we can get some new photographs, and two more volumes of the Definitive history. Watch this space!

May we wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

  1. We have recently moved to the area. I would like to attend your next gathering as it sounds so interesting.i wondered when the next meeting was? Thanks.

  2. Hello Michael
Sorry for the late reply. We meet on the third Wednesday of the month at the Bethel Church at 10am for a talk, usually on local historical subjects,
but it can vary if we have an interesting outside speaker. We also meet on the first Wednesday of the month, either for a general meeting or coffee morning
which are open to all to see how the Society is run and informally get to know the members. You would be more than welcome to join us.
    Yours faithfully
    Bob Brevitt (Member Secretary.
